Digestate, after sufficient digestion, is largely stabilised and can be used as high-quality fertilizer in agriculture. The package is specifically designed to measure the availability of the major required nutrients such as Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium (NPK), the organic Carbon content along with other micronutrients and determines the quality and efficacy of the produced digestate (solid and liquid fractions).This aptly designed package includes:
A. TS- TS or DM content can be used as an indicator of the viscosity of liquid solution or presence of desired non-ash content in the solid fraction ( refer individual test for more information)
B. TOC-Digestate from biogas plants contains Organic Carbon which tends to improve the condition of the soil by and has the function of improving the growing condition of crops. So, in other words, measuring the TOC of digestate in real terms determine its quality. (refer individual test for more information)
C. NPK-Knowing the NPK values of fertilizer can help one select the right fertilizer mix that’s appropriate for a given type of plant/ crop grown and the natural nutrient value of the soil in which it is to be grown. (refer individual test for more information)
